From Manchester Airport

A train station is located at the heart of Manchester airport, at 5-10 minutes walk from your arrival terminal. You can take a direct train to Liverpool Lime Street or a train with one change at Manchester Piccadilly to Liverpool Lime Street. Trains are running 7 days a week. The journey to Liverpool takes an hour and a half.

You can buy your ticket at the ticket machines in the station or online through apps like Omio.

From Liverpool Lime Street it is less than 5 minutes walk to the Adelphi hotel.

From London Heathrow

  • About 4 hours by car (340 km).
  • from Heathrow Terminals 2&3 to Liverpool Limestreet by train: about 3.30-4.00 h with 2-3 changes. Book your ticket in advance. From ca. € 140.
  • from London Euston to Liverpool Limestreet: direct 2 hours 20 minutes to 2 hours 28 minutes, advance prices from £34.50 (approx € 40).

Mentioned prices are for bookings made in advance. The closer to the day of travel the booking is made and the more seats already booked the prices increase so a ticket for the same day can be a lot more expensive than one booked well ahead. For information, the "M" on the railway stations and bus stops is the logo for Merseytravel not Metro.
